Lucky enough for me, I know what goes into casting the PERFECT actor/actress for a role. And “looks” are not at the very top for specific decision making. Don’t get me wrong, looks are everything, but one producer must also consider chemistry, availability, experience, and honestly, the actor’s desire to even want the role. No one really knows what happened to America’s top picks for Christian Grey + Anastasia Steele (Matthew Bomer & Alexis Bledel); I mean no question about it — I could totally see the two of them playing the characters, but hey, one must also move on about it.
Over the last couple of days since “Fifty Shades Of Grey” author EL James announced that Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson would be playing the sizzling love interests, fans decided to start a petition to get them out of there. How awful is that? Y’all have no chill faith. Do y’all really think Hunnam & Johnson will do a terrible job? They probably have the best chemistry and UOENO.
Fifty Shades of Grey, directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, is slated to open in theaters Aug. 1, 2014.
